What would identity look like without a context? If part of it is to define what it isn’t, would it even be possible to form one that exists separate from societal constructs? How much autonomy do we truly have when it comes to who we are? Loss is inevitable as we change throughout life. The theories on what identity is and how it’s formed pose questions surrounding consciousness and the physical body. These tapestries are part of an ongoing research and reflection on the topic of identity formation, community and intimacy.
